Conference programme unveiled for new business travel event

Malmaison CEO Robert Cook, Sabre head of Europe Martin Cowley, and HSBC head of procurement David Pritchard are lined up as speakers for Business Travel Market.

The new business travel event, taking place 17-18 June 2009, has published its inaugural conference programme.

It comprises five streams of content - Today, Tomorrow, Timeless, Maverick and Building Blocks.

Today, Tomorrow and Timeless will deal with the issues that are relevant for the business travel community now, in the future as well as discussing topics that will always be relevant for the business travel industry.

The Maverick stream is a series of seminars dealing with different aspects of business travel such as ‘Whose data is it anyway’, a look at whether the buying and selling of data is in line with who owns it.

The Building Blocks stream will be geared to those new to business travel, who only book business travel infrequently or would like to learn how to buy more effectively and efficiently.

All seminars are free to attend for visitors to Business Travel Market, and the programme has been designed not to clash with visionary addresses or appointments.

During the event there will also be four visionary addresses given by prominent speakers from the business world, to be announced in due course.
