Holland America to sail from UK again in 2010

Holland America Line’s newest ship Eurodam is to operate three departures from the UK next year.

The Baltic cruises will run from Dover in May and June 2010 and will feature in the premium line’s brochure for next year due out in July.

Two longer 12 and 11-night sailings depart from Dover on May 29 and June 9, 2010, calling at Copenhagen, Warnemunde (Berlin), Tallinn, Helsinki, Stockholm and two days in St Petersburg.

An eight-night Norwegian Fjords cruise departs from Dover on June 21 and visits Alesund , Hellesylt and Bergen in Norway, then Invergordon and South Queensferry in Scotland, ending in Dover on  June 29.

HAL’s managing director UK business Lynn Narraway said: "We ‘tested the water’ in 2009, and following the great response to our ms Eurodam short break cruises, are now committed to expanding our ex-UK programme and offering a series of longer sailings from Dover for guests who wish to sail ex-UK

"The programme is already available to book, and prices will start from £939 per person for the eight-night Norwegian Fjords cruise departing June 21.

"We are working on a dedicated e-brochure, which will be launched prior to the main Holland America Line 2010 brochure."
