Hoseasons adds supplier failure cover to villas programme

Supplier failure cover has been added by Hoseasons as the company tries to boost sale of European villa holidays.

The company has cut prices by up to a quarter in a 16-page Villas mini-brochure.

New properties, more flexible start dates and durations are included.

The operator is offering free holiday financial protection, including ‘supplier failure’, which covers all aspects of the holiday, even if it is not booked through Hoseasons, such as flights booked separately.

Business development director Pali Badwal said: "Selling accommodation in Europe is tough this year, so we are responding to travel agents’ demand for a more flexible approach, as well as affordable prices and great offers.

"Affordability and flexibility is key to securing bookings, which is why we have cut prices on dozens of properties, and the reason that we are now offering flexible start dates and durations on two-thirds of our entire programme.

"We have responded to agents who have been calling looking to obtain the keenest prices for clients, and who are looking to make the most of cheaper flights on odd days of the week.

"We also know that reassuring holidaymakers is important after some high-profile failures over the last year, so we are now offering free holiday financial protection, including supplier failure cover, including airline failure cover. We are also offering a no surcharge guarantee."

Hoseasons features villas and apartments in France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Malta and Gozo, Cyprus and Turkey.

The operator offers a lowest-price guarantee, which means that travel agents have access to any offers which are available direct.
