TUI aviation director Christoph Mueller is leaving the company and PLC Board to pursue other interests.
The group said the decision was made after the successful ââ¬Åâstrategic cooperationââ¬~ with Air Berlin following the merger with First Choice.
TUI Travel chairman Dr Michael Frenzel said: ââ¬ÅâChristoph was an integral part of the TUI Tourism team prior to the merger with First Choice and since the merger has, within TUI Travel, played a significant and valuable role in helping to drive the Group's progress.
ââ¬ÅâI am sure he will make a similar valuable contribution as he pursues other interests outside the Group and wish him every success for the future.ââ¬~
He will leave the Board today and the company on October 31 2009.
