Ocean Village unveils new brochure

Ocean Village has added seven new itineraries and new sailings between Crete and Majorca in its new brochure.

Covering the June 2009 to October 2010 period, the programme also features five new ports of call in Sicily, Turkey, Italy, Sardinia and France.

The new brochure also introduces a new pricing system, with Early Booking Discounts of £50 per person for seven-night sailings and £100 per person for 14 nights and above.

These discounts are to be deducted from the fares in the grids to give the price to be paid.

Prices lead in at £699 for seven nights and £1,149 for 14 nights in the Med 2010, and £999 for seven nights and £1,199 for 14 nights in the Caribbean this winter.

Head of marketing communications Gill Haynes said: "The new brochure showcases Ocean Village's biggest and broadest selection of Mediterranean destinations to date.

"There's good demand for informal cruising in the current economic climate. There is a real opportunity here that agents should not miss out on: more first time cruisers coming into the market chasing better value for their holiday money, and pent up demand from Ocean Village's considerable past passenger base."

The brochure also introduces a brand new transatlantic cruise option: a 15-night sailing from Barbados to Crete departing 24 March 2010.
