Melbourne has been confirmed as Qatar Airways’ first destination in Australia.
The airline will launch flights to the city on December 6, flying three times week from its hub in Doha.
The route will become daily early in 2010.
It will connect travellers from the UK to Australia with a one-stop service and a planned one-hour connection time in Doha.
