Bedbank makes move into Italy

Accommodation specialist youtravel.com has signed a new Italian distribution partner.

General Sales Agent Spazio has sales offices in Rome and Milan, an office at Rome Fiumicino airport and one at Milan Malpensa airport.

It also has a network of sales promoters across Italy.

Youtravel.com now has operations in the UK, Greece, France, Germany, Italy, Ireland and Scandinavia.

Group managing director Graham Nichols said: "Spazio is a great partner to have in Italy as it is well established in the market.

"It is known for respecting the identities, brands and commercial policies of the companies it represents as well as remaining neutral and independent in the market.

"Its portfolio of customers includes airlines, rental companies, airport products and now, of course, youtravel.com in the accommodation sector."
