It's winter. It's cold. The family wants to go abroad, to somewhere warmer. You don't really care, as long as you can golf. So leave out some brochures for Tenerife...spring time weather all year round, so easy to get to, with incredible exotic beaches, spectacular vistas everywhere (including Mount Teide at 3,718m) and all the great food you can handle. Just keep it under your hat that Tenerife has nine golf courses for all skill levels, membership-free clubs and easy equipment rentals - so you can take in all of that but still golf!

If I'm going down, I'm taking you down with me Bobby! Check out http://www.golfamigos.co.uk/htm/tenerife.htm and I wonder where he got his 100 words from?! Yes, I did the same, but by pure coincidence 'â the absolute truth! At least I tried to change mine slightly! Good luck to everyone else!

Quite simply, would you rather tee it up on all-weather mats in the rain or smashing your drive down the 1st in glorious sunshine?! For me, that's why you should play winter golf in Tenerife! Apart from superb climate, spectacular scenery and great beaches, the fact that everything is so close by is also great. You could play a round at the Real Club de Golf de Tenerife in the north of the island, eat lunch and head south in time to tee off for an afternoon round on one of the five courses in the south. Just pure heaven!

There are 9 golf courses to choose from in Tenerife all being able to reserve your desired tee-off time. Tenerife is also perfect for non-golfing partners who can use the accommodations facilities and be able to soak up the sun 'â if that's what they prefer. Imagine looking down the lush perfectly trimmed grass of the fairway with the sun shining and the breeze cooling you down when you onto a very important shot, looking out to the deep blue Atlantic Ocean you wouldn't wish to be playing golf anywhere else in the world! Tenerife the only place to golf!

Tenerife would make an ideal winter sun Golf destination for many Golf enthusiasts including my son George. We are planning a winter golf holiday this year as my son is 15 and an 11 handicap. His best friend is the same age and is a 5 handicap and of course we cannot forgot my husband who tought my son to play and is now not as good as him!!! The sunshine and beutiful scenery on Tenerife would make up for the dreary weather we have here in the UK, when of course, the boys are unable to play the game that they love so much because of the weather!!

Tenerife is the ideal location for Winter golf holidays. The sea breeze and Gulf current combine to produce an agreeable year round climate with temperatures in Winter between 17 and 21 centigrade. With six golf courses the island is fast becoming a major golfing holiday destination. The good thing about Tenerife apart from it's superb climate and great beaches is the fact that you can play a round of golf at Real Club de Golf in the north of the island, have a relaxing lunch and then motor south to play at one of the five courses in the south of the island in the afternoon.
