Libra moves into Jordan

Packages to Jordan are being introduced by Libra Holidays for winter 2009-10.

The seven-night holidays will be based on weekly flight with Monarch Airlines from Gatwick to Aqaba.

Flights will run from September 29 until January 5 and also from February 23 until April 27.

Seven night’s bed and breakfast at the Radisson SAS Tala Bay, Aqaba start at £789 per person based on two sharing on September 29.

The operator is featuring 12 hotels including five-star Marriott properties in Amman, Dead Sea and Petra.

Bookable and commissionable tours and excursions range from two to seven days.

Product and contract manager for Egypt & Jordan Costas Stylianides said: "Last year we added Jordan as a twin centre destination with the resort of Taba in our Egypt programme which proved to be a popular product with our clientele so introducing these seven night package holidays solely to Jordan has enabled us to diversify and meet our clients’ preferences."
