Attention Canadian travel agents: Scandals Resorts wants you to visit Jamaica.
The company says it has always believed that "seeing is believing and believing is seeing" so it is asking agents to register for four-night fam trips this fall.
"In addition to gaining valuable first-hand experience on Sandals' Luxury Included Vacation, agents will also participate in educational on-resort workshops. The result: greater product knowledge that will allow retailers to sell with confidence and increase their sales of Sandals products," Sandals said.
Participating agents are also eligible to be reimbursed for up to $500 from the Sandals Marketing Bank -- which is equivalent to approximately three-quarters of the cost of the fam trip.
The four-night trip to Jamaica costs $675 per person and that includes airfare, departure tax and accommodation. The fams are scheduled for September and October. Departures for all fams are from Toronto. Connecting flights from major Canadian gateways are also included.
