More travel firm failures

Cambuslang Travel, formerly of Main Street, Cambuslang, Glasgow ceased trading on Friday

The company also used the trading name Cambuslang Travel Centres.

It had a branch at Olympia Arcade, East Kilbride, Glasgow.

ABTA member The Package Holiday Company has also collapsed.

The Leeds-based company could not meet its future liabilities, the association said.

Retail claims arising from the failure will be handled by CEGA, ABTA's claims handling partner.

Newbury-based agency Windsor & Neate Travel collapsed a day earlier (See previous TravelMole story).
