Operators are gearing up for a flood of bookings for their World Cup packages following Englandââ¬â¢s 5-1 win against Croatia last night.
Thomas Cook Sport is Participating Tour Operator for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa and has packages available from Ãpound;2,499.
ââ¬ÅâIt's fantastic that England have now qualified for the World Cup in South Africa and we'd add our congratulations to those of the fans,ââ¬~ said Danny Talbot, managing director.
ââ¬ÅâWith many supporters looking to be with the team during the competition we're anticipating that demand for our packages will be very high.ââ¬~
Packages include direct return flights, accommodation at a three- or four-star hotel and a minimum of one match ticket, with the top package including tickets for all of Englandââ¬â¢s Qualifying Group games. Flights depart from London and Manchester.
Meanwhile, Thomson Sport has launched new one match official travel packages for the event.
Managing director Nathan Wilson said: ââ¬ÅâEnglandââ¬â¢s result last night was fantastic. Since the final whistle enquiries by fans looking to follow their heroes to South Africa are flooding in."
Prices start from Ãpound;2,500 for a four- or five-night package including flights, staying at the three-star Park Inn Hotel on B&B in central Cape Town, all transfers, an official match ticket for group stage, plus a safari experience.
