SYDNEY - Eastern European and Russian specialist Beyond Travel has offered support to travel agents needing to re-book passengers requiring immediate assistance following the collapse of the Melbourne-based European specialist, Euroscape.
Euroscape has called in the liquidators, blaming ongoing tough trading conditions for the move.
Beyond Travel managing director Peter Frevel, said the company has long standing relationships with many of the same Eastern European suppliers as Euroscape ââ¬Åâand can therefore easily assist with passengersââ¬â¢ travel requirements that are affected by Euroscapeââ¬â¢s closureââ¬~.
He added, ââ¬ÅâThe reservation and sales team at Beyond Travel has in-depth knowledge of the destinations and the experience to help agents and consumers during this time with their current and future travel plans.ââ¬~
It is unclear how many of its customers are overseas or how many forward bookings Euroscape had on its books.
