Hotel savings added to travel guides site

 

 
 
A guide to saving money on hotel accommodation has been introduced by newcomer travel website Simonseeks.com.
 
A total of 13 new partnerships for the site are included as part of the ‘hotels money saving guide’.
 
Flight and travel insurance money saving guides will be the next areas Simonseeks will focus on.
 
The new partnerships are announced as the travel guides site rose 1,307 places in Hitwise’s travel category to rank 976 after 12 weeks since its launch.
 
The guide is authored by consumer travel expert and site editor Nick Trend. He outlines the way to secure the best rate for accommodation online from luxury hotels to hostel bookings, as well as outlining which websites are best for what. 
 
The guide includes links to a number of new partners in each area including:
 
·      Price comparison sites such as skyscanner.com .
 
·      Agents such as holidayextras.co.uk,HotelConnect and APH which covers al the main airports.
 
·      Online travel agents which can tailor-make hotel packages includingThomas Cook and Thomson.
 
·      Hotel companies including Hilton, Marriott.  Premier Inn

The site’s commercial director Chris Nixon said: "We have used Nick’s expert knowledge and money saving tips to offer additional commercial opportunities to a raft of accommodation specialists.
 
"The guide offers advice including which companies offer the most flexibility on bookings, the best selection of hotels geographically or the sites with the largest bed banks, or most in-depth information."
