TTA and Worldchoice unveil conference sessions

TTA and Worldchoice have unveiled the business sessions for their conference in November.

The event will be held on November 21-22 at the Sheraton Skyline, Heathrow.

Simon Hargreaves and the teams from TTA will outline plans for
next year, including initiatives to help members grow their cruise and luxury business.

In a session called Diamond Geezer, jewelley retailer Gerald Ratner will tell agents how he fell from grace and fought his way back up again.

Public speaker Steve McDermott will help delegates see opportunities being missed, while Sarah Smalley of travel research specialists Gfk Ascent-MI will look at next year's business prospects and which products will sell better than others.

Body-language expert Richard Newman will help members read advanced body talk signals to help sales and negotiations.

The conference will also include a session for TTA members who act as operators, exploring the latest CAA rulings and how to operate in an increasingly complex regulatory environment.

Green tourism expert Justin Francis of responsibletravel.com will show how companies can be green and still make a good profit, while there will be special sessions devoted to marketing, the cruise sector, business travel and the internet.
