Amadeus has introduced its Amadeus Hotel Store in the UK, with hotels consolidator Transhotel as its launch partner.
The ââ¬Ëstoreââ¬â¢ is a gateway to consolidated hotel content and will be displayed as a new tab in Amadeus Selling Platformfor travel agencies.
Amadeus said it seamlessly integrates 50,000 hotel consolidator properties in the booking process, and is available for travel agencies without any charge.
By sharing the PNR (Personal Name Record) and back office functionalities, agents now book the hotel consolidator content through Amadeus.
Transhotel allows users to make hotel reservations with up-front payment of commissions on commissionable rates, and set margins up-front on net rates.
Amadeus said clawing back commission has traditionally been a very time-consuming and burdensome process.
ââ¬ÅâThis gives travel agents greater flexibility,ââ¬~ it said.
