Tourist board appoints chairman

Edward Pysden has been appointed the new chairman of tourist board Visit Chester & Cheshire.

He is a solicitor and senior corporate partner at international law firm Eversheds LLP and previously held positions within the Manchester Airport Group as interim chair and Board Member of Marketing Manchester.

Pysden, 61, takes over the role from Mike Cooksley.
