Etihad holds off on profit forecast

CHICAGO - Etihad Airways will see its first profitable year in 2011 rather than 2010 as earlier forecast, chief executive James Hogan told Dow Jones Newswires .

Hogan cited the sharp downturn in global business travel this year for the revised forecast.

In other news, Etihad will resume flights between Abu Dhabi and Colombo, starting in January, in response to the end of Sri Lankaââ¬â¢s civil war.

It will fly the route four times a week using A320s.
