Goodman prepares for start-up operator

 

 
Package holiday entrepreneur Harry Goodman has been attending World Travel Market in advance of the launch of a new long haul tour operating venture.
 The former International Leisure Group founder was at WTM preparing for the December start of joint venture operator Totally Worldwide.
The company, formed between Goodman’s Totally Travel group and independent agency Hays Travel, aims to carry more than 15,000 holidaymakers in its first year and generate £20 million in turnover.
Tailor-made, multi-centre holidays to the US, Mexico, Cuba, te Caribbean, Far East, China, Middle East, Indian Ocean and Sout Africa will be offered initially.
Australasia and India will be added in a second edition brocure due out in June 2010.
Totally Travel executive chairman Goodman aims to harness the combined tour operating and retail distribution skills of the joint venture partners  to support the new business.
Totally Travel trades as both 1st4cruising and go-now Travel.
