Majesty prepares to enter Med service

 

Louis Cruises is preparing to bring the ship Louis Majesty into service in the Mediterranean following the end of a charter to Norwegian Cruise Line.
 
The 1,790-passenger vessel was operating cruises from the US until the end of October under the name Norwegian Majesty.
 
The ship, acquired by the Cypriot company from Star Cruises last year, will undergo routine maintenance and refurbishment before re-appearing in Louis colours. 
 
The vessel will then enter service on December 4 operating cruises from Genoa and Marseille to Mediterranean, Canary Islands and North Africa.
 
Built in 1992, the ship underwent a $53.3 million lengthening and refurbishment ten years ago.
 
The vessel has 731 cabins, six restaurants, nine bars, show lounge, an upgraded spa, health and beauty centre, disco, casino, two swimming pools and a splash pool for children, three Jacuzzis, a children’s area, shops and an internet corner.
