BA ups Shanghai frequency

British Airways is adding an additional flight to Shanghai from next month.

Frequency on the London route rises from five to six flights a week from December 4.

The decision has been taken due to increased customer demand over the past year.

BA regional general manager Far East Kevin McQuillan said: "We need to meet the needs of our customers, and make travel as comfortable and convenient as possible for them. That's the reason we are adding the new flight to Shanghai."

To mark the launch of the new flight, the airline is offering reduced prices at hotels it features in the Chinese city until the end of the year.
