TTA/Worldchoice strikes Allbury deal

A commercial agreement with TTA and Worldchoice has been struck by the Allbury Travel Group following "lengthy discussions".

The deal covers departures April 30, 2011 involving a range of travel brands within the Allbury portfolio, including Libra Holidays, Argo Holidays and Jetlife.

TTA and Worldchoice commercial director Helen Dooley said: "We are pleased to have concluded new trading terms with Allbury Travel Group which we feel can deliver us into a new generation of trading relationship.

"Commercial agreements now need to be about more than straight forward commission levels, it’s about a mutual respect for each others position in the sales process and a complimentary sales strategy.

"After lengthy discussions we have agreed on a partnership that we feel can take us forward into 2010."

Allbury general manager Christos Loris said: "We are very pleased to have secured this agreement, enabling us to continue our association with TTA and Worldchoice.

"The agreement covers our winter 2009/10 programme, summer 2010 as well as winter 2010/11 and we will continue to make every effort to provide the market with the best quality value for money package holidays.

"In order to create a win-win basis for both parties, Allbury Travel Group will look forward to meeting members and offering incentives to help drive sales."
