Ryanair expands in UK regions

 

 
 
New low fare routes from Bristol, Edinburgh, Prestwick and Liverpool are to be opened by Ryanair in the new year.
 
The budget carrier is to open ten new routes from February and is to base additional aircraft at Bristol and Liverpool airports from March 28.
 
Bristol gains flights to Faro, Gdansk, Palma, Venice (Treviso) and Valencia.
 
An Edinburgh-Tampere service is planned toegther with Prestwick to Carcassonne.
 
Additional services from Liverpool are to Lodz, Rimini and Trapani.
 
All services go on sale tomorrow (Friday) on www.ryanair.com
 
Frequencies on two Bristol and four Liverpool routes are also being increased.
 
The airline claims the expansion will deliver 400,000 additional passengers a year and sustain 400 new jobs at these airports in 2010.
 
A spokesman said: "Ryanair routes at these airports deliver millions of passengers, and sustain thousands of jobs at each airport and in the surrounding regions every year."
