Not sure that Mr Oakley-Smith's comments of empty ski slopes is quite true. Our ski bookings have maintained a 10-15% increase on the same time last year. It would seem that skiers are more 'recession-proof' than other travellers? Our ski holiday packages, which include lift pass and lunches at a choice of mountain restaurants, are proving popular with those looking to take the currency gamble out of booking their winter holiday.
