New UK boss for Travelzoo

The general manager of Frommers Unlimited is moving to become UK managing director of Travelzoo.

Joel Brando-Bravo will take up the role at the travel deals site on December 9.

He takes over running the UK business from Stephen Dunk, who has served as commercial director for two and a half years.

Dunk is taking a newly created pan-European role as operations director to cater for rapid growth by the company.

Both will report to European managing director Chris Loughlin.

The company has also appointed Louise Hodges as head of public relations for Europe. She was previously Asia PR head for Tourism Australia.

Loughlin said: "We are delighted that Joel and Louise have agreed to join the team, I am looking forward to working with them to quickly scale the business to the next level.

"I am equally pleased that we can now establish a pan-European operations team around Stephen and bring further professionalism and intelligence to our fast paced business."
