Aruba regains Amsterdam link

 

 
 
A Caribbean air service is being resumed by KLM in February.
 
Flights between Amsterdam Schiphol Airport and Aruba will run twice a week from February 1.
 
The service will be operated in combination with an existing Curaçao connection.
 
KLM has decided to resume flights between Amsterdam and Aruba in response to growing demand on this route, a spokesman said.
 
Flights will be operated using a Boeing 747-400. Both KLM and Martinair will operate services to the destination.
 
KLM president and CEO Peter Hartman said: "We have seen that customers would like the option of a business class product on flights to and from Aruba.
 
"To meet the different demands of our passengers we will operate KLM flights alongside the Martinair service on this route."  
 
Flights will depart from Amsterdam on Mondays and Thursdays at 09:35 and arrive in Aruba at 14.15 on the same day.
 
The return will depart from Aruba on Mondays and Thursdays at 15:25, arriving in Amsterdam the next day at 08:00.
