Ã¢â¬ÅâœPup-ularÃ¢â¬~ hotel anomg hosts of world famous dog show

If you do not believe every dog has its day, consider that it takes more than one New York City hotel to host the world-famous Westminster Kennel Show.

One host, New York’s Hotel Pennsylvania calls itself the most "pup-ular hotel" with some special preparations for canine creatures that include converting function space into what is perhaps the largest in-door doggie spa in all of New York City.

Located within the hotel's lower level, the 1st In-Line, Inc.-sponsored Green Room Salon & S'paw offers a variety of amenities that show participants require such as a bathing/beauty parlor/salon, and a his/hers relieving area.

There’s also a canine masseuse.

Then, there’s the all-suite Affinia Manhattan which also is offering some unusual hospitality amenities to primp, pamper and prepare for the show. Their offerings include:

---The 30-suite hotel is transforming their Skywalk suite into a Westminster Dog Run.
This outdoor area, which has New York City views, will allow pooches of all sizes with the ability to run, play, and relax if they choose. A designated bathroom area for all dogs will also be provided.

---The Affinia is also adding a new, Doggie Day Salon in the hotel during the days of the show, offering a private space for the owners to groom their dogs. This salon will have amenities such as a walk-in shower, a hand-held shower head, a table, and towels, providing a more exclusive alternative to grooming in the suite or at the actual event.

Guests are required to bring their own grooming supplies.

The 134th Westminster Kennel Club Kennel Show takes place on February 15 and 16 at Madison Square Garden, across the street from both hotels.
