Fred Olsen introduces agent referral scheme

 

 
 
Agents will no longer miss out on commission when clients book cruises when on board Fred Olsen ships.
 
The company has introduced a scheme which means that any on board bookings will automatically be referred back to the client’s originating travel agent. 
 
General sales manager Lol Nichols said: "Many of our regular customers book a further cruise while onboard and we don't want the agents to miss out on commission when this happens. 
 
"This new referral scheme will mean that, if a client booked by an agent decides to re-book while on board, the agent will take over the booking and of course receive the full payable commission on the sale.
 
"This means agents who book our cruises never need to fear that they will lose out when we actively encourage their clients to book their next cruise while they are on board our ships - this way agents stand to make extra commission and also retain the very important relationships they build with Fred Olsen customers."
