Gateway enhances in advance of Travel Technology Show

 

 

Belgian-based content and technology specialist Gateway has enhanced its Gateway 2 Travel hotel booking engine.

 

Upgraded map search functionality, an XML service for maximum flexibility, and additional hotel suppliers have been added.

 

The overall inventory has been expanded to 120,000 properties worldwide.

 

Ranging from budget to five star, the properties available are offered by more than 15 suppliers, such as Tourico, Jacobs, Hotelbeds, GTA and Youtravel, as well as by country, regional and luxury specialists.

 

Gateway 2 Travel was launched at last year’s Travel Technology Show as a free solution for agents and operators wanting access to extensive hotel content and the company will be exhibiting again at next month’s event in London.

 

It now being used by nearly 2,000 travel agents and tour operators worldwide.

 

Best net prices that let agents set their own mark up and create their own cancellation rules. A booking can be completed in as few as four clicks, the

company claims.
