Washington DC is being added as the second US city served by British Airways all business class offshoot OpenSkies.

The airline is to fly to the US city from Paris Orly starting on May 3.

This is in addition to 17 flights a week between New York Newark and the French capital.

The airline will use a Boeing 757 aircraft fitted with 72 business class seats or beds.

There will be five flights a week between Washington and Paris, with an increase in ffrequency planned in the coming months, the airline said.

Tickets have gone on sale today (Tuesday).
