Eurostar ski routes now on sale

Agents can now book Eurostar"s 2010-2011 winter ski services from St Pancras and Ashford to the French Alps.

The high-speed train takes skiers on weekly direct services calling at Moûtiers, Aime-La-Plagne and Bourg St Maurice from December 19.

The stops are within a bus ride of Courcheval, La Plagne, Tignes, Meribel and Les Arcs.

Eurostar"s director of communications Mary Walsh said: "As well as our popular French ski destinations, tickets for resorts in Switzerland will be available later in the year thanks to onward connections in Paris.  More and more of our passengers are discovering the ease and convenience of onward travel thanks to Europe"s high speed rail network."
