A poll conducted by online travel planning destination Totaltravel from Yahoo!7 has found Aussies are advocates of the mile-high club.
According to the poll of 741 Australian travellers, nearly 80% believe airlines should permit in-flight intimacy in private suites.
Following the recent introduction of Qantasââ¬â¢ A380 - an aircraft which offers first-class travellers their own private suite with a bed, mood lighting and champagne - the overwhelming majority of those polled responded that passengers should have the right to in-flight ââ¬Åâhanky pankyââ¬~ if they so desire.
But around 20% of those polled disapproved, saying sky-high sexual relations was offensive and inappropriate.

A mile is only 5280 feet, an easily obtained altitude even in the 1920s. Today's airliners typically fly between 30,000 and 40,000 feet approximately between 5.5 and 7.5 miles. Maybe we should rename it "The Old Russian Mile High Club" an old Russian mile being 24,000 feet - a more likely cruising altitude these days!

With Aussies voting overwhelmingly in support of the Mile High Club, Air New Zealand should do exceedingly well in Australia from 1 October when Sky Couches are introduced into Economy on the new 777-300s.
