Iceland Express has decided to make its Gatwick to Newark flight a permanent fixture on its schedule.
It said the service, launched in June, is receiving an average of 90% load rates.
It operates four times a week with a stopover in Reykjavik before flying on to New York.
Prices start from £299 return including taxes, which Iceland Express has promised to continue all year round, even during New York’s popular winter season.
