The Bristish Airways chairman and the pilot's leaders seem to have forgotten that the 9/11 terrorist pilots had been trained in the USA and would not have met the criteria of 'citizens from known trouble hotspots' Maybe we should not look for the seemingly obvious but adopt a wider approach and look for the 'The Black Swan' (Taleb N 2007) that may be the real threat.

As a frequent traveller I only wish to get through security at Heathrow or any other worldwide airport in the easiest least fussy way possible and have absolutely NO OBJECTION to body scanners, frisk searches, pat downs (prefer lady security man..)or any other method that is deemed neccessary by airport authority in attempts to ensure safety.I suggest "attempts"for obvious reasons.Anyone objecting can simply avail themselves to Shankes pony...whats the big deal?
