Sabre Holdings has appointed Hugh Jones, president and CEO of Travelocity, as president of Sabre Airline Solutions.
He will be replaced by Carl Sparks, current president of Gilt Groupe and a former online travel executive.
Both Travelocity and Sabre Airline Solutions are business units of Sabre Holdings.
In his new role, Jones will oversee the growth of Sabre Airline Solutions, which provides technology solutions to the air transportation industry.
Sparks has previously held executive leadership roles at Expedia and Hotels.com.
In his new role, he will take responsibility for the growth of Travelocity Global and its subsidiaries Travelocity, Travelocity Business, Travelocity Partner Network, IgoUgo, AllHotels.com, and lastminute.com in Europe and Zuji in Asia Pacific.
The changes take effect from 25 April.
