A nightclub in Kenya has been hit by a grenade attack injuring 13 people.
The grenade was thrown into a club in the centre of the Kenyan capital Nairobi early this morning.
It has not yet been confirmed who was responsible for the attack, but it comes a week after Kenya sent troops into Somalia to track down members of the Somali militants al-Shabab who are blamed for several recent kidnappings.
On Saturday, the US embassy in Nairobi warned of an "imminent threat" of attacks in Kenya.

It was a nasty little atrocity, but it wasn't perpetrated on a "nightclub" but on a local bar in a back street of the River Road distirct of East Nairobi. Still unclear who was behind it.
