Travel software company moves to new offices

Travel software company Inventive IT is moving to new larger offices in Manchester later this month to make room for more staff.

The firm was set up in 2007 by former MyTravel/Thomas Cook staff who used their redundancy pay to start the company.

It currently employs 20 full-time employees at its Rochdale offices but plans to expand this to 30 by the end of 2012.

The company provides pricing systems, mobile application development and airport parking pre-booking systems for travel clients, including Thomas Cook North America, Thomas Cook Northern Europe, Thomas Cook UK, and several UK airport groups.

In 2012, it will be focusing on mobile applications for (following on from the iPhone app), and a dynamic price management system for non-risk inventory tour operators.

It is also looking to open an office in Canada.
