Five killed in Belgium's Christmas market attack

Four people were killed and over 100 injured after a man open fired on a busy Christmas market in Liege and then killed himself.

Police say 33 year old Nordine Amrani’s attack came shortly after he tried to rape and then murdered a 45-year-old woman in his flat, reports the Daily Mail.

He launched the gun and grenade attack in Belgium’s fifth largest city.
