Five tourists are reported to have been killed in an attack by gunmen in Ethiopia.
The Foreign Office has confirmed that a British tourist was among the group of travellers but was not among the dead.
According to local reports, two Germans, two Hungarians and an Austrian were killed in the attack in the north of the country on Tuesday.
Another five in the group were kidnapped and two were wounded
The FCO has reviewed its travel advice and is advising against all travel to specific areas of Ethiopia, including the Danakil desert area.
The tourists were on a visit to a volcanic region in the country-ªs northern Afar region.
