Teletext Holidays is to offer a holiday search app on more Freeview HD boxes after agreeing a deal with set-top box specialist Humax.
The app will allow holidaymakers to check-out deals by destination via the HD-FOX T2 and HDR-FOX T2 boxes.
The app will sit alongside other on-demand and internet services, including BBC iPlayer, YouTube and internet radio.
The Telextext Holidays app is already available on Samsung Smart Televisions and Samsung Smart blu-ray players.
The company said it is aiming to grow its presence across all internet-connected televisions.
Teletext Holidays managing director Victoria Sanders said: "The joy for customers is being able to browse through available holidays, then see hotel images and destination video guides all from the comfort of their sofa."
She added: "There"s been a lot of consumer marketing about the switch to digital this year and this has prompted high volume sales of the new breed of televisions and boxes. As people get used to the technology it will become the norm to have an internet connection via their TV and we are leading the way as a platform for holiday search."
