Osprey Holidays and Ski Independence roll-out new technology platform




London, 3rd May 2012 Independent tour operator Osprey Holidays has implemented a new sales, contract and booking management technology platform. The Dolphin solution has replaced an existing technology platform and eliminated a wide range of manual processes.

The new technology is used by 39 sales and administration staff at Osprey. Deployed initially across its City Breaks business, Osprey’s Ski Independence division has now just completed its first season with Dolphin powering all day-to-day sales and operational activities.  

As a result Dolphin is now used to manage and sell directly negotiated ground supplier contracts across Osprey’s entire business. With a point of sale module also accessing Galileo and low cost carriers to enable staff to search and book Osprey’s extensive range of nett and published airfares. The project has also involved Dolphin Dynamics working closely with Osprey to carry out software development in order to enhance specific areas of functionality important for Osprey to achieve the business performance sought.
