Rail Europe has been appointed to sell UK rail tickets for the new Italian high speed trains which began running on April 28.
Initally, passengers will be available to book Italo services 60 days in advance of the date of travel, but this is likely to be extended in the future.
Italo services are the first completely ticketless trains. Customers will simply need to provide the train staff with a reference given to them at the time of booking.
Paul Lacey, head of trade sales for Rail Europe, said " Deregulation and new players mean exciting times for rail travel to and around Italy and we are delighted to be working closely with Italo and making this fabulous new service available to travel agents, tour operators and rail specialists in the UK."
