TravelSupermarket and Rentalcars were the best performers in the latest search analysis by Greenlight.
According to its car rental report, just published, UK web users conducted 538,000 searches for car hire-related terms in April 2012
The search term 'car hire' was queried 90,500 times, accounting for 17% of all searches made for the sector.
When it came to natural search, TravelSupermarket was the most visible website in the natural search listings, achieving a 69% share of voice.
When it came to paid media, Rentalcars was the most visible advertiser, attaining a 99% share of voice through bidding on 67 keywords, at an average ad position of two.
