EasyJet chief executive Carolyn McCall has been named Woman of the Year by Women 1st at the 2012 Shine Awards.
Freda Newton, managing director of Jacobite Cruises, won an award for Outstanding Entrepreneur and PR guru Pippa Isbell, chief executive of PRCo, won Mentor of the Year.
A total of eight women from travel and tourism have been added to the Women 1st Top 100 Club of the most influential women in industry, including McCall and Advantage Leisure Centres leisure director Julia Lo Bue-Said.
John McEwan, chief executive of Advantage Travel Centres, said: "Julia has shown that it is possible for women to progress to high levels within our industry. She is regarded as the best in her role and is highly respected."
Other women to join the Top 100 include Holiday Extras group finance director Cathy Beare, TUI Travel HR director Jacky Simmonds, general manager, DUKES St. James Debrah Dhugga, TUI and VisitBritain non-executive director Janis Kong, the owner of The Network FMP Jane Dyson, general manager of Coworth Park Zoe Jenkins and De Vere Group brand development director Kellie Rixon.
