Legoland Malaysia to open early

Legoland Malaysia - a 76 acre park in Kota Iskandar, Johor - is to open ahead of schedule on 15 September.

The first park of its kind in Asia, Legoland has already sold more than 35,000 annual passes for the theme park with more than 40 rides and attractions.

Siegfried Boerst, general manager of Legoland Malaysia, said: "I'm pleased to announce that due to the hard work of all of our contractors we will now be opening Legoland Malaysia ahead of schedule by a number of months.

"We hope that with today's news families and tour operators will begin planning their trips to visit us and we look forward to giving you an experience like no other in Asia."
