Etihad suspends Damascus flights

Etihad Airways has suspended flights between Abu Dhabi and Damascus until further notice.

It said the decision was made due to the deteriorating security position in Syria, but was not taking lightly.

The airline said the safety of passengers and crew is paramount.

Affected passengers will be notified and offered a full refund for unused tickets.
