Ryanair has opened its first 'pop-up shop' in Manchester with a pledge to pay customers double the difference if they find flights to or from the city cheaper elsewhere during the four week period the store is open.
The shop in Piccadilly will enable customers to browse flights online in store and talk - yes talk - to a real living, breathing member of Ryanair staff. They exist, apparently.
One customer will win return flights every day, some of which are to destinations you might have heard of - but for most customers, the pleasure of booking a Ryanair flight with a human being for the first time will be good enough.
Ryanair's Michael Cawley said: "Ryanair has long pioneered customer innovations and through our latest promotion, we will bring our ultra-low fare seats right to the heart of Manchester, with the opening of our first pop-up shop, giving high street customers the chance to see our lowest fares for themselves."

I firmly believe in Zombies, Daleks and Vampires but come on.. real life, breathing humans beings at Ryanair, now that's just too far-fetched! To be fair, I have found cabin crew to be generally friendly and efficient, ground staff, however, can often be a whole different ball game. Ryanair's Michael comments "Ryanair has long pioneered customer innovations" yes I have to agree, they have pioneered the near destruction of all customer service and customer care but maybe the penny might just finally have dropped, so I applaud the pop-up shop, let's have more of them. Final point Mr Crawley, so-called cheap flights mean nothing when you need a bank loan to take your bags onboard. I've done many comparisons and Ryanair are certainly not always cheaper.
