The number of people who view TripAdvisor reviews on sites other than its own has doubled since last year to over 300 million per month, it claimed today.
More than 500 brands around the world, including Thomas Cook in the UK, now display TripAdvisor content on their websites.
Others include hotel chains such as Best Western, destination marketing organisations and airlines.
Over 50 of these organisations, including Accor Hotels, have partnered with TripAdvisor for Review Collection Services.
TripAdvisor said that according to a recent survey, carried out via a pop up link on its website, 53% of travellers won't book a hotel unless it has a TripAdvisor review.
