Hundreds of flights were cancelled in the midwestern and northeastern US yesterday as the area was hit by a winter storm.
According to FlightStats, more than 700 flights were cancelled due to Storm Luna and schedules are expected to be disrupted again today as a knock-on effect.
Most of the cancelled flights were at New York airports, with 177 flights cancelled at Newark and 153 at La Guardia yesterday afternoon.
Flights were also cancelled at Chicago O'Hare, Philadelphia and Washington Dulles airports.
Many airlines are waiving change fees for those in affected areas, including American Airlines.
