Springfield CVB hands brief to Cellet Marketing and Public Relations




Springfield, the capital of Illinois and home to Route 66 and one of America's most famous and topical Presidents - Abraham Lincoln - has appointed Cellet Marketing and PR to raise its profile among UK travellers.




 




The agency has been briefed to raise awareness of the city of Springfield to the UK & Ireland travel trade and consumer audience, increase knowledge of the unique element, history and iconic locations in the city and create consumer and trade brand recognition of Springfield. Cellets' campaign will include representation, consumer marketing, event management and high profile partnership projects.




 




Yolanda Fletcher, Managing Director of Cellet, commented that the campaign will grow the brand values and destination awareness whilst attracting a new audience.




 




She said; "With the launch of the award-winning Lincoln film in the UK, this is a very exciting time to be developing stronger brand recognition of Springfield as a destination of choice for visitors.
